I got my B.S. from California Institute of Technology and my Ph.D. from Columbia University.
For much of the last decade, since 2012, I was a Professor of Global Economics at Hult International Business School in San Francisco
I worked as a staff economist from 1991-2009 for the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and subsequently as a consultant. I successfully conducted research and navigated teams through often turbulent economic systems from Uzbekistan to Nauru, and from China to Indonesia.
Economics is a passion in my life, but not the only one.
